Hello,

On the lookout for 55900-60020 brand new. It is the climate control button assembly with the auto AC. If anyone has NOS I'm interested in buying.

If you cant find NOS, i got a couple of good used ones i could sell you.

Folks - all you have to do is to replace button caps to make it looks new again and you can still buy them caps from Toyota. Here is mine after replacing them.

Where did you end up finding it? Looking for the same thing..

I ended up buying 55900-60120 which is still available from Amayama. WAY cheaper than 55900-60020 from the North American market.

I bought new because I'm doing a frame off restoration.

If replacing for appearance sake, then yes replacing the buttons is DEFINITELY the way to go! :)

It was a while back when I did it and I took the whole bezel out because I wanted to remove all of the switches and the temperature controller so I could refinish the bezel. With the temperature control unit removed it is very easy to pry loose all of the caps. I used a small flat head screw driver to gently pop them out and then snapped the new ones in. Piece a cake. ;) I have another Landcruiser (93) and most likely I will do the same with it.

The only bad thing with doing this is that the Temperature Control Unit will now looks great and it will make all of the other switches looks like crap!!

That's great. How long does the part from Amayama take to deliver? they usually give an estimate of 2-3 months. Is the 55900-60120 same as the 55900-60020? What other panels are interchangeable ?
thanks!
