97kurt has been helping me build a new bumper for the 80 series. When I bought the truck the PO had already started on making a hanna copy. So it is our job to finish it up. We used some parts from 4x4labs to finish out the swing outs..

We finished it up this weekend and its out to powder coat. will post some more pictures when done. We also added the 4x4labs 2 gas can holder which mounts to the ladder.

I want 1 for my 60, I love it. I live in vegas but my family lives in reno. Is there anyway you can get me any info on how to built a bumper like that or how much it would cost to have it done. I am a decent welder and have all the tools to make it just not the know how.

we are in Reno. I'd say if you were to by the materials yourself and not go with the kits from 4x4 labs. probably looking at 5-600 in materials. Biggest problem is cutting with the tools we had. We had metal masters in reno do a few cuts on some of the metal which saved us quite a bit on angle grinder discs. :)

Nice LX. I had a 97 LX, sold it, bought a Tacoma, sold it, and now I am back in an 80.

Nice bumper. I am planning on a 4x4labs rear bumper (kit) when I get to that stage.

Are you going to make it to the club meeting tonight? Hope you can, nice to meet new cruiserheads. Besides the wagon guys are taking over, so we need to continue the trend.

Im really diggin it.
What size stock did you use for the swingout? Is it 2x2?

Title change;
I modified the title a little, the 60 rear bumper build will also get the same treatment. The titles were to much alike and I thought it would make future searches easier if the LC series was in the title.

Nice! Good feeling to have it done eh?!

YES! I think we started back in what October ? :)

Looks good. Now you just have to paint/powder coat the spare to match the rest.

Jack

ya ya. one day.. :) Its amazing how much bigger the spare looks. The spare is about an inch bigger than the other tires (yes same size, tire wear).
