After much hand wringing, it has come the time. I've got my house for sale now and my new home won't have garage space. Unfortunately for me, my poor 40 has been sitting only being taken out a couple times a year at best, and the costs of supporting two wheeling trucks is a bit overwhelming at this point, so sadly, the less family friendly truck has to go. Hardly have much time for it lately to work on the little things, but as it stands, it's ready to go at the turn of a key and wheel. It's driveable to the trails as it stands, but with airshocks when they've been sitting a bit, they need to cycle to stiffen up, so the ride is very soft when it hasnt been driven in a few months. Wheels like mad. Insured with regular insurance, no outstanding VIs or other stuff.

This truck is the talk of the trail, Seems like everyone has hard of it, or managed to read the build threads. This sucks for me, but here goes.

- 1980 frame and front apron,
- Aqualu (early style) rear 3/4 tub
- soft and bikini top, soft doors
- J**p pod speakers on the cage
- full roll cage in 2" DOM, tied to frame
- skinned tube fenders in 2" tied to frame,
- 3" air-tank sliders
- 60 series axles front and rear,
- Longs and chromos up front with marlin seals, and full TOYOTA (not trail gear) seal kids
- 4.88s
- Fox 18" 2.5 airshox, charged at 550 PSI Nitro
- 3/8 wall CHROMO DOM lower links, 3/16 wall CHROMO DOM uppers
- Currie Johnny joints, all new cups and balls, (you can have the old ones as spares too)
- Genuine, High Angle Driveline HADL front and rear drive shafts, made by the man himself.
- Dual cases, Marlin doubler, LC split case with chromo gears through out.
- Toyota V6 tranny and clutch (less than 1000 KM on it at best)
- Audi 2.8 V6, 198 HP 212 Ft/lbs torque, 138k KM on it when pulled. Runs like a dream, 7500 RPM redline. sips fuel. has compressor on board for OBA but not connected yet.
- Dual cat 2.5" exhaust with Hushpower muffler. Nice sound, but not too agressive. NO exhaust smell in the cab ever. Passes aircare without even trying. (the techs are always shocked)
- Full hydro steering, PSC box, cooler, 6" double ended ram. 1 ton TREs with Marlin arms, extra hydraulic fluid reservoir, and filter.
- Warn 9000xi winch on ARB style bumper, useful for hauling Jeeps around.
- Currie anti-rock front sway bar
- Jegs 26 Gal fuel cell, in-line external fuel pump
- newer all copper 3 core rad
- AGM battery
- Tires TBD, for the asking price, comes with xterrain 35s on aluminum rims.
- 3600 CFM electric fan

Sum of the parts far exceeds the asking price, but i just can't bring myself to part it at this point.

$6800, bring your offers. No tire kickers please, no stunt pilots, no f'n around. and no low ballers please and thank you.

semi-current pics. Soft top was thrown on last minute due to rain.

Well this emblem is included with purchase.

That and a spare engine.

Will trade for a decentish shape Taco, engine doesn't need to be good, as I'm planning a swap with it as soon as I get it in the garage. Need more work truck, less rocking the muck.

You didn't specify in the ad. Does it have lockers? Air/elec/cable?

Thanks

It has (had) a welded rear that i've taken out. It can go back in if some wants it. Comes with an e-locker third for the front, not set up.

Sorry, Truck is not for parts. I'm not impatient to be rid of it, thus no urgency to part out.

Bought a new townhome, and the 40 wont fit. . .

Price DROP $6800 or swap for Tacoma.
