Ok guys looking to figure out how much this Pickup is worth. It’s a 79, looking to use it for a little work truck/wheeling rig. What should I offer this guy that’s not an insulting offer?

Owners brief description below

Make an offer. It was a 20r, I swapped it to a 22r, Weber 32/36 carb, I welded new front hangers to use 63" Chevy leaf springs in the rear. Moved the rear springs to the front. It's got a square tubed front driveshaft with like 36" of travel so it'll never separate. It could use a new dash for sure. The pad is pretty gross. And one of the tires exploded so I'm going to buy a new set before it goes. But that's about it. Only rust on the truck is on the cab drip rails.

over 10K .........

i have been keeping tabs in First Generation 4WD's and they have shot through the the roof in the last 2-3 years , just like are Vintage Toyota's out there now

Its simply Hip now to have a Vintage Toyota car or truck , If u want to see something amazing , Google the Comps for a 1985-1986 body style YR series 4wd Van with the camper package

I have wanted one bad for some time now

I call them the " Poor-Mans-40 "

@RAGINGMATT theres a guy on base with one.. I to have a soft spot for a Wonder Wagon, those will shoot up in value. The pick up, thinking of offering $4.5 to see his reaction if it looks decent in person.

As everyone else said I’d offer no more than $5,000

The bed on the blue truck is not original and is from a 1984-1988 2WD Truck, if that matters to you.

Thanks for that info, getting curious now
