First post, so be nice...
I have recently bought a 78 series Troopy. My car park's maximum height is 2.25m, so the Troopy fits in with no issues as it's 2.1m in its stock form.
That said, I'm trying to work out what I can get away with in terms of a roof top tent or roof rack. I know I don't have much to play with, but there is a slim possibility of the building management adjusting some signs to add a few more cms of room. I've measured the height of various pipes - which clearly I don't want to come close to touching for obvious reasons. The lowest of those is about 2.31m.
I'm looking to add some storage units in the back, as well as water tank, plus the usual camping kit.
I was wondering how much weight in the rear affects the height? Assuming I have 400kg of stuff loaded, what would the reduction in height be, if anything?
To be clear, I measured all the dimensions of the car park and the Troopy before buying, so I had done my homework in terms of the car in its standard form fitting in. I'm just wondering what the effect on the height will be when loaded.
