Just wondering if anyone could post any pictures they have of your cut front guards on a 75 series.
Interested to see how you've done it

Thanks

I've never bothered with a front guard chop its a lot of work to get right and a body lift or shifting the front axle forward works out pretty easy, I only did a body lift and didn't worry about relocating the axle or chopping the guards. The guard chops I've seen have taken a wedge shape slither out of the guard (yellow lines) and pulled the guard back to clear contact with big tyres, anything else involves a lot of work to try and chop up and modify the inner guards

Thanks for the reply

My idea is to cut the lower guard inline with the top of the brush bar, welding some panel steel or whatever in there, and run small tube front the front bar up to meet the rail to give it strength

If you know what I mean

Done exactly the same on my BJ75 and My ISUZU Ute (ooops sorry Toyoyta forum). No body lift only the guard chop.
