Thanks for the reply My idea is to cut the lower guard inline with the top of the brush bar, welding some panel steel or whatever in there, and run small tube front the front bar up to meet the rail to give it strength If you know what I mean
I've never bothered with a front guard chop its a lot of work to get right and a body lift or shifting the front axle forward works out pretty easy, I only did a body lift and didn't worry about relocating the axle or chopping the guards. The guard chops I've seen have taken a wedge shape slither out of the guard (yellow lines) and pulled the guard back to clear contact with big tyres, anything else involves a lot of work to try and chop up and modify the inner guards
