Looks like you have some room to maneuver in there, though (I wish I had the space to take the whole rig apart)View attachment 1229735 I'm in the same boat! I just started my EZ-Wire install. Yikes!

Awesome! Thanks, Mark--really appreciate the info. There is a way to decode the numbers you will find stamped on the switches but I don't know what that is. It has been discussed here on MUD before so should turn up in a search.
I can tell you this about the switches:
Headlight switch fits from 1968 to 9/71
Dimmer from 1968 to 9/72
Wiper from 1968 to 9/72
Heater from 1958 to 9/72
Turn signal from 1958 to 9/71
Hazard from 1968 to 7/70
Ignition from 1958 to 9/72
Brake Switch from 1958 to 7/70
I am having--was having--the same issue on my '74. Couldn't find the G/O on any schematic. Still working on that bit, as I have all the lights working except the hazards. Assuming I'll figure it out eventually, but I have to agree that re-wiring these things with a generic kit is a pain, particularly KwikWire, as some of their instructions are so poor that one might be better off without them. Oh well, it has been an interesting experience...BTW, my column harness has 6+1 connectors which appear to be (GR, GO, GY, G, GL, GB ) + GW (as well as the dimmer switch connectors RY, ETC)
Haven't found one diagram with this rainbow of colors for the column/turn switches
