72 40 wiring harnes into a 65 SWB

Could it be done? The SWB project I'm starting is missing a ton of stuff including the wiring harness. I'm parting out my 72 factory soft top and thought I could use a ton of the electrical items including the harness.

Has anyone gone down this path?

The '65 dash switches all use screw terminals - not sure what the '72 has, but I'm pretty sure the ign switch (at least) uses spade terminals. If you can live with those sorts of differences, I think you're ok. The taillight harness might be too short - not positive.

spade vs screw isn't a biggy. I believe I still have the rear harness so it might be ok. Thanks for the input
