Cj, anything you can not do...???

Your trailer is so very awesome, Envy runs in every one of my Vains and arteries too...
I can't do anything quickly seems to be a general theme. jack of all, master of none. it takes a long time to really learn and master anything when I try to do everything.

Been welding for 20 years put over 200lbs of wire in my big welder I've had for half of that and really just getting to the point where I can consistently put down what most would call a pretty text book weld with the mig. the gaps inbetween that I don't turn it on for a year is the killer.

It really just takes removing the fear of failing from your mind set. failing isn't a big deal start over/fix

Can you show the backside of the datsun hubcap cover. Very curious to know if its possible to use the same setup to mount the stock 40 series covers. It would be nice If they could work the same way using the bolt idea as I'd like to modify a set of rims to do the same thing.

It's a rolled edge I believe the classify the small dog dish as a 10" half moon or dog dish I've seen several similer caps but have not looked at the toyota version spicifically. I'd have to assume they are similer

A little different, but not much. Thanks, I'm going to experiment

the 10" is center of the rolled edge and its about about 1/4" thick. the bolt i used was strut stud. i need to look through my records and post the part number.
Edit part number:
Suspa covered trailer gas prop mounting stud
Product Code: c16-17857

It's all coated and starting to come back together. ended up using majic primer from tractor supply with a roller and them debated top coat but had some rustolium gloss black gallon that I've had good luck with the past. I like the texture that rolling the primer offered but the top coat just followed the primer and would have sprayed it if I did it again .

Just getting finished with a 2500+mile trip which included 500+ offroad and back country miles with the trailer. Pulled it over tincup, California, corkscrew and other passes a with a broken bike in it. Did awesome. And didn't slow me down a bit. I did shear one of the pins and almost loose it. This is as we where loading the 3 bikes back on to make the 900 mile trip home. Switched back to the standard ball and socket hitch.

Rolled the trailer around the garage and tripped over this 5 gal bucket thought it was entertaining so I snapped a picture.

I have a ton of clearance under this thing.

It’s for sale if anyone is interested. Want to build a similar but slightly different one.

Sadly it did sell. I will miss this trailer for sure. Planning on building another trailer with more utility function flat bed with removable sides possibly a camping box that would have quick release to lift off.

should be a fun next build.

I think it'd be neat to do the flatbed like you're talking, but still use an old school truck bed as your removable "camp box". Maybe just bedsides and a tailgate to make it easy and modular? Hmm... the more I think about that the more I like it. Maybe I'll do it too.
