Is there an adapter for that? I could run an Orion behind a 700r4, right? If not I could for sure get an Atlas or Stak

ONE such adapter exists, and has never successfully been used....actually, it's for a 2F IIRC but should work on a 3FE too....
agreed on the 350....my TBI 350 was $200 and came with a complete 1991 Chevy Van and a 700R that needed a rebuild...

Yep, I have one, There were some complications with it tho.
Up N over or over the hill (can't remember which) also used to make that adapter. But they don't any more.

"W" or James may be able to help ya... I think Mace is right though, I dont think they do them anymore but you never know. Its best to call them though neither of them know much about computers:

gotcha... W is the type of dude that might do something like that though. oh well.
Up and Over had on their website at one point a 3FE to 4L80E adapter. I considered it before I had my A440 rebuilt and beefed up. They pulled it from their site years ago though. Not sure if that is what folks are remembering or if there was something different at some point specifically for the 700R...

Transmission looks like it's going to go out before the engine and I figure I could do a tranny swap easier than I could do a full drivetrain swap.
Really just want a stronger transmission and some t-case/gearing options.
