70 series interchangeability? (1 Viewer)

Just bought a 1990 PZJ70 with next to no experience with cruisers and need a stock seat as the previous owner installed a crappy aftermarket seat that won’t pass rego. I can’t find a wrecking 70 series near me and I’m wondering if the rails and seat from a 75 series or something similar will just bolt straight in. Thanks

The seat itself will fit any model 70 from any model 70. The problem is that the bases are not interchangeable with all models. Those with the main tank in the front under the front seats will only fit the same. So if you need bases they will have to come from other model 70 series besides the troopie(not the 75,78 troopie), ute (75,79). I don’t know about bases from anything with the wide nose.
