70 brake booster?

think I have a bad booster, hisses all the time, whether the pedal is depressed or not.
? is are they year specific, or worth rebuilding or go new

Not year specific. I am going to a 60/62 brake booster only very minor hole mod on the firewall to get it to fit. Its worked well for a couple peoples 40's I think it will be good on the 55.

great, use a newer booster with the old master.

I put an 86 FJ60 booster in my rig, no problems.
