Geez, and I've got a 74 in need of a front end face lift. Very cool looking. I might see how the 40 fenders I've got work
on that. I like the 40 bezel. The front square look of the 74 is something I don't really care for. I'll have to see.
 
Actually doesn't look that bad. Must've been a pain in the ass widening the hood and grill...don't think I'd go through all that just to have a 70 that looks more like an fj cruiser tho. :meh:

I think the hood would have been by far the most difficult with the curves.

I must say, the look is growing on me...
 
Better break out the measuring tape, the dimensions for the front of the two is very similar.
I hadn't actually realized the hood was changed until you mentioned it. Getting the rear of the hood
shape with the cowl of the 70 and flattened along the cowl line would be a job.
It looks really good to me.
