7" Hella headlight hole

    Is this drain hole designed to be plugged from the factory. I dont remember a plug ever in it. Will it hurt anything if I plug it? It lets mud and dirt in and cleaning is a PIA.

    I say plug it up......cant recall any of mine having that hole, it looks like it had something in it at one time......its kinda shinny around the hole.

    That looks like it's for a city light. European hella's have a hole in them to insert a very small bulb socket for city lights. Older euro cars had no parking lights up front or amber/clear sidemarkers. Front amber lenses were turn signals only. So they had these little bulbs in the headlights up front that were used as parking lights. They actually look really cool if they are hooked up. kind of makes the headlight just glow a little.
