Due to a string of bad luck I now am forced to sell my 66 FJ40.
It has the stock F, 3 speed and transfer
welded 78 fine spline rear with a spare open carrier
bucket seats, still have the originals
aftermarket tire carrier, still have the original
78 roll cage with factory pads
small jump seats with SOR pads and CCOT covers
4 wheel disk brakes (monte carlo)
32/36 solex progressive carb
new 35in BFG AT's(5 of them) on aluminum wheels
mini truck power steering
Soft top with 2 piece soft doors(speciality)
Hard top with doors(later model top?)
bikini top
SOR 4 in. lift with u bolt sliders
2F water pump with 78 fan and modified 78 shroud
Parts not installed:
78 fine spline disk brake front end with an aussie locker
new seals for hard top and doors
2 sets of front and rear axles
78 axle housing
original 10 spline rear axle
hinges
glass for the top
windshield
new body bushings
original springs and a Proffits shackle reversal/spring over kit
78 roll bar(spare)
a set of near perfect swing doors
89 s10 with a 4.3 V6 and 4 speed overdrive tranny
and a load of stuff I'm forgetting
Inspected till 10/07 will pass with no problem
Have close to $12000 into it
The bad:
The body has rust and some dents, but is pretty solid
the front and rear main leak about a quart a week if used heavy
one front spring is bent, but I was going spring over
I drove this to work for 6 months(70+ miles round trip)
Drove it in 95+ degree weather without overheating
All gauges work, but the amp bounces when the heat or headlights are on
