I think that I will be able to get this, might take a little time, I have a friend that will take care of it wuile I am away. The guy whom I talked with was pointing out things that were positive about it like the winch was used about 5 times, He is retiring and heading out for l life of rv ing, think he wants a piece of the action. not to bring ya down, but I don't think I would trade those guns(not sure what they are) for it. that 45 needs LOTS and LOTS of work, rot, cab roof dented, ect ect. Its also a fixed top so unless your a short guy......its going to be VERY cramped. as well as needed a WHOLE new drivetrain.
I passed on one that was the same or maybe a bit better, it went for 1k.

Guns are worth $800 to $900 for both so I don't think I would get hurt on this one. I figure if i do this one it will get my wife and dogs out of my 40, lots of work,you are right on that one but less than my 32 buick.
I thought they were something special. Yeah $800 you prolly fine, the PTO is in good shape is worth close to that.

I'm still in Alaska but got word today that the fj45 is now mine. Your right John it is going to be a lot of work but winters in MT are long. I got it for about half the value of the winch. will keep you posted on the progress of bring it back. I plan on a frame off staying bacsicly stock.. Be home around the 1st. Myrle

Truck is in the yard, title is transfered, the wife wants to plant flowers in it, I can,t wait to start tearing into it, I'm In Lake county 3_puppies. I had a freind get it for me and it had 3 very large hornet nests in it and 95 degs. That guy is going to get a lot of free beers when I get home. Myrle
