Hello crew, I was able to drive the 45 last night for the first time. I thought I had the kinks worked out, but here are the electrical issues I am having.
1963, SWB.
"Charge" dummy light stays on, can't seem to do anything to get it to go OFF.
Both rear parking lights work. However when I press the brakes, the left light goes out. Same with turn signals. Turning right works, but when I turn left, the left rear light simply goes out and no blinking occurs.
Front bib parking lights do not work.
Here is what I have done thus far:
1. Disassembled both front electrical strips (the ones bolted to the fenders behind the headlights). Cleaned, polished, and reassembled them with Dielectric grease.
2. Checked all fuses and connections under the dash.
3. Put a volt meter on each of the 3 posts on the 12v generator, two posts read 13-18v, and the other read 43.5 volts.
Any ideas?
