Does anyone have any idea of what a 1962 45LV in original, but rusty, condition would be worth, ballpark? I think it is 100 percent there, unmolested, but rusty and not running.

Hello Kim, from the pic it is at least a late '65 or later, the locking gas cover is a dead give away. If it were a '62, it would have a prefix number of 2 in the VIN, like 2FJ45XXXXX, they dropped the prefix starting with the '65 model. Don't give more money based on the claim of it being a '62. Even if it is titled such, it is in error. Check the VIN on the plate on the firewall (if it's there) and the VIN on the right front frame (outside facing). Also, see if they match, someone may have swapped the plate. Also check your state and local laws, it wouldn't be the first time someone might try to illegally sell a vehicle with a missing plate, and you don't want to be caught in the middle.
Best of luck, and keep us posted!

Hello Eric, I'm going by the owners statement that the 'papers' say 1962. I haven't verified that yet.

Looks like a decent truck.Have you decided to get it? There are definitely very few of those driving around B.C.

Glad you posted the pic - now I know what the two mounting points on my drivers side fender were for.I thought it was a PO add on.

Post some more pics if you get it.
