600 Miles in a 58 year old Land Cruiser

Jumped in the Goat Friday and made a trip up to Hot Springs to visit a few folks that traveled into the event.

I had a wheel to drop off and 4 to pick up so I decided to to make an adventure out of it.

I’ve had this truck 9 years and a day trip or two around the state is all I’ve ever done in it.

This thing cruises at 65 at 2300 rpm and sips gas (right) at 13 ish mpg.

Road trips are for burgers. David’s Burgers are always great

@landcrusher909 was at the park. We went for a drive and he and I talked Cruisers for an hour or so.

The next morning I got up early and made a big loop up into the Ouachita National Forest. Mural shots first

Lake Winona overflow. It’s awesome when this is flowing

I should have aired down but I kept saying I’m almost there.

I went back to camp and hung out with Rob a little more then went and watched Ole Miss win and LSU and Alabama lose. Great day.

Bailey’s for late lunch/early dinner. Best burger in Hot Springs

Woke up fresh and decided a couple of fat pills and a white monster would be perfect. And it was

Sucker for old stations

Ole Goat did great. Zero issues. 13.8 mpg.

One last burger then back to the shop. Tearing down an axle and listening to the Giants tie a football game. Nuts.
