That's looks fantastic! I've been doing the same thing with my 55. What'd you use to fill in the door frame welds for the bed? I've got some fiberglass impregnated body filler that I was planning on using, but if there's a better option I'd def. use it.

i just welded the doors up i don't kno if thats the best way but it worked 4 me

Looks awesome geofro!!! Those twin pipes look sweet too. I've been checking out those tail lights on E-bay for a while too - look snazzy!! Do they fit well? Is the gasket OK?

That's what I've done as well. Although they didn't fit perfectly, so there are gaps. You didn't have to use any body filler to make it smooth or anything? That's what I'm wondering about.

EDIT: NM I just saw your post in my thread. Thanks!

yep gotta love the 40,s,had mine in thd shed for a few years waiting to build it,keep getting side tracked, ant want to gdt the 60 back on the road first, then need to give the 60 wagon a birthday, rust sprouting out left right and centre, been thinking of upgrading to an 80 series, but ive had the 60 for over a decade and quite attached to it

They are propane tanks ,or LPG as we call it. A 60/40 mixture of propane and butane.
Not too many F engines run on straight petrol in oz anymore. During the last fuel price crisis the govt handed out $3000 vouchers for anyone wanting to convert to LPG which is approx 1/2 the price and available everywhere these days.
I think the LPG works out to what americans pay for their "gas"

When I stop for gas ,Im looking for the LPG bowser:D
amazing! That's a pretty nifty arrangement with the tanks..... do post pics when the new paint job comes in... or did i miss those?? Great Job!!

That's quite a Bull Bar on the Falcon.......................looks like it might work on Crocs too
