I'm looking for the location of the relays controlling the solenoid for the boot powerlock.
GX series anyone any idea, it is not mentioned in the sm i have.
Thank you

boot powerlock? Gx series? are you talking about a 80 or 100 series landcruiser? what year?

On my FJ62 the relay is in the rear quarter panel behind the interior cargo area trim panels. Your's should be in the same area.

On the diagram the relay you're looking for is Part ID 85919.

Thank you I found the relays and bot were missing. Replaced them with two standard 12v 10A relays found broken wires in the rubber to the tailgate. And now it works but the relays and actuator remains energized with the powerlock button in neutral. Anyone has the correct drawings with clear wire color coding of the system? I believe the main panel in the driver door has been replaced with an aftermarked one and it feels 0v and 12v to the powerlock button is switched in the panel.

Also check the fuse in the fuse box.
I discovered that the fuse labeled locks in my fj62 fuse panel only affects the power lock for the rear hatch, or boot.
previous owner said the rear power lock could not be fixed. I changed out the good looking fuse in the fuse box, and It’s been working fir 4 years now...
