In the driver side front cowl there is this space with captured nuts.
Would a 60/62 fan by any chance mount there?

Installing dual battery, but still want the ingress of air per the carb blower. Just a preference to keep OE.Why?
if installing dual battery why not at the front on the other side of the radiator like the main battery?
there are relocation kits for the washer bottle available and the battery gets ram air from behind the headlight as your going along
I believe I have seen the carb fan in place from the factory on a friends FJ80. don't know for sure but I thought they all came that way. I know the 3fe's in the 62s kept the fan.
Ah sorry, I understand your question now. Goes to show the level of ignorance many of us have towards the FJ's. That would be super interesting to see, it wouldn't surprise me if it fit and would be pretty useful information for the forum if you found out. Let us know! The carb fan in an FJ80 (see above) is a different spot (up front) than in a 60. They did all come like that. The blower in the 60/62 looks as though it will fit in the same corresponding cowl hole?
aha, i wasn't aware your car was an 3fe motor! That's exactly where it will go, with an FZJ80 battery box. The washer bottle relocation &c is only applicable for a 1FZ equipped 80. Currently the factory "carb" blower is on the front port side where the "Z" battery is normally. I'd like to still keep a blower but of course will put the battery there.
