I do agree with that, I'm hoping to spring mine over within the next 6 months. I just want to pick up a set of tires and accumulate the parts that i'll need and get as much done as i can at once, but that will be in 6 months so there may be a few more inspiring things between now and then. I would do it now, but my dad just bought a 60 that i'm picking up tomorrow and he's puttin in a 350 and my truck is gettin pushed to the side temporarily. but I really like your setup Ferg. Did you ever have a Roof Rack on your truck once it was sprung over???

That's about how DJ's looks. You're right it doesn't look bad. But think how much better it would look on 35s. :D

Thanks. I actually have never had a roof rack back up there after the SOA. I am hoping to get a lightweight rack and rooftop tent eventually. But i am hoping it all to be very light. And I won't run it all the time. Also, I would never run the same rack up there again that I had before. That bugger was HEAVY.

I probably should have ran these pics first off, you get a better feeling for the difference from the side. 33x10.5 8" wheels on stock springs VS. 35x12.5 10" wheels with stock srings and long Man-A-Fre add-a-leafs on each corner. Sorry for the second pick being dark.

So are you trying to say that the 1st pic is on stock springs? Don't look stock at all to me.

Ok... I knew I was missing somewhere

Did you just pick up an ARB????

No on the ARB. I was thinking about it and contacted Poser, but he sold it and I decided to keep the Detroit in the rear.

I viewed this truck up close, very very very clean......................

Cheers.

Oh, did the tire guy ever sell that FJ55??

I never heard if he sold it or not. I bet if he didn't he would sure come down on the price by now. Let me know if you want me to stop by and check for you.

silly? tough!

this is an updated pic of Andre's HJ60 SOA on 33s. i bought it from the guy that bought it from Andre. wheels and grill have gone black, same flat spring setup he mentions, PO added custom bumpers....

went and talked to JK yesterday about sliders...looking for a lightweight roof rack and tent, then she goes back to mexico with me where i seem to find all kinds of wheeling in my day to day around the jungle....

and it rolls out! 75 on the freeway with hardly a hum and no pulling.

this looks silly? i thinks it looks awesome.
