Jealous!!!

Ha! The wife got a job at a college there, all because I told her I was unhappy in South Dakota. Quite the keeper! She applied to only ski towns, just for me! And as such, she gets to come with me to HIH and enjoy it!

I'll still pack some SoDak beer as well as whatever I can find in Steamboat.

Now, to find a job that I can still do school stuff....

Will we be missing a lot if I need to leave Saturday? The GF might have to be back to work Monday and rather not make a non-stop drive back to TX on Sunday. She might be able to swing it, but not 100% sure.

Well, you would miss a full day on the trails in Ouray, you would miss a night chatting around the campfire, you would miss hanging out with some awesome guys driving awesome trucks......but other than that, you wouldn't miss much.:meh:

I think if you ran a trail Friday and Saturday and left Saturday afternoon/night, you'd get to see a lot of great stuff.

Clear Lake on Friday and Black Bear or Poughkeepsie on Saturday would be a good choice for only being able to stay for 2 days. Both of those trails will connect with something else, so you'll see at least 4 great trails in the area.

Is the trail list/schedule out already and I missed it?
Nope, it has not been communicated. Just @paflytyer giving some inside info, a little early.....

FYI- we are working on the trails and we will be sending out directions to fill out a form on the HIH website to let us know your trail choices. Should be soon. Thanks!

My GF only has 3 days of vacation right now so she is actually flying to Albuquerque wed night, staying the weekend with us, and flying back out Monday afternoon. She is sticking me with the drive back to New Orleans, but I am just happy she can make it!

Lol. We'll figure something out. We definitely want to experience as much as we can.

Holy crap! I just started planning my trip back to the mainland. My current plans put me and my dog in Portland on July 23rd and my land cruiser comes into the Seattle port on the 27th. Am I too late to sign up? Is it too close a time frame to road trip over to Colorado? Should I try my hardest to make this happen!? New wave of excitement =)

Unfortunately, we maxed out registration almost immediately this year. We have filled 4 waiting spots already, so your best bet is to email us at info@100sinthehills.com and get on the waitlist.

Got my Cb mostly set-up today. Love that I was able to reuse the car phone mount for the CB!

Has a quick disconnect so I can remove the antenna when not in use. Might have to get a different coax depending on VSWR tests tomorrow since it bends slightly on the fender...or I can just dent it further since its dented already lol.

Now to fab my LED set-up and I am golden!
