I forgot to mention the bushing size. 40 bushings are 9/16" and 55 bushings are 5/8". I run the FJ55 rears on my 40 and I had to get some special bushings that would fit the FJ55 eye hole but still have the 9/16" diameter hole for the solid leaf mount.

I'm looking at running fj55 rear spring packs for my front SOA on my fj40. Where did you get these 'special' bushings?

Also, I'm guessing running the fj55 rear spring packs on the front of an fj40 will keep the front axle in it's stock location, since the extra 3.5" is all on one side (pin is centered)?

FJBen, have the alcan's on your pig softened any from use? I seem to remember that truck being stiff right after Dan put those springs on it.
