My head light switch is a little funky. The one on e-pay for $125.00 . Are these that rare or is that out of line? Also my high beam switch on my 76 is in the colum. When you pull the handle the low beams go off and no high beams come on . Is there a fix for this or am I looking for a replacement ?

Gosh didn't know they were that high.......wonder what the OEM price is? Gonzo put an WTB ad in the Pig Section classifieds and in the main classifieds----surely you can do better. GL!!!
Maybe a good cleaning of the dimmer switch itself & to see if there are any real problems + additional poss. of a ground

A little funk in a headlight switch is no reason to replace it...they can be disassembled and cleaned and put back together again. There may even be a thread, with pictures, around here somewhere.

Pull the steering wheel and look to make sure the stalk is making contact in both positions. Years ago, on a 78 fj40, someone had modified mine by using a smaller (iirc) ball in the turn signal side and that affected the highs.
