54 mm hub socket

getting ready for Moab and on my list is to get a good 54 hub socket.
I looked at one at NSOR , but it was made of 1/8" steel and was too heavy-- is there hub socket that is a little lighter than that one?

They have a cheap one. Less than $20 I believe. I have bought 2 there.

PA has them too... if you only need to use it now and then...

I bought one from NSOR and I have nothing bad to say about it.
I will be using it again shortly once my front end is put back together.

KMS only has a 55 mm socket and no listing for a 54 mm ???

Not sure I'd worry all that much about that extra 1mm...

Not even sure if mine is 54 or 55 or a english equivalent.

will allow some room for the chisel gouges that old bearing nuts always seem to have.

I'd take a nut in and try it...

the one i have is cnc plasma cut and tig welded to a piece of pipe... homemade socket...
