5 Speed Swap Help!

So i'm doing a auto to manual swap on my 88 Runner and have hit my only problem. My Runner has a mechanical speedo and i got a 93 trans that has a electrical speedo. I would like to use my mechanical speedo but the whole for the speedo gear on the new trans is huge compared to my auto one. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated!

You might need the cable out of a 98-91 to make it work.... But then your dash may not like the other end of the new cable.... I'd measure the back of your dash and go see what the newer cable end looks like...

If so, you might have to find the guts/tail section off a cable driven transfercase...
