I have a 96 GMC C1500 5.7 i bored the engine 30 over an put a computer friendly comp cam in it. The problem i am having is the engine is popping an backfiring also loss of power someone please help me

Despite the "computer friendly" cam, you are likely going to need the computer to be reprogrammed to make sense of the changes.

Do you have your timing set correctly?
Does this one have a distributor on it or crank sensor only?
