Speaking of spendy...glad to see you moved the D90...damn that was a sweet truck.
Thanks. Yeah, I really liked it, but with Val (a) not willing to drive a 5-speed, and (b) with it being about time to replace her GX, I figured it was time for it to go to a new home. I gotta say it was one of the better automotive investments I've had, so I figured if I couldn't live without it, I could always find another one (a '97 with an automatic this time.....:D)

Hmmmm....maybe a GX build in future...Woody and a few others have been wheelin them. I see it.

My friends at ACC did a GX recently for Dan Kunz. They ditched the airbags, stuck FJC upper spring buckets and fabbed up bottom brackets on the rear axle. Added Ironman (Oz Prado spec) springs/shocks all around. Ironman front bumper and custom rear plate bumper. Turned out pretty sweet.

It's a 4Runner frame, right?
It's my understanding it's a Prado format. Seems like I remember reading that, although many 4Runner/FJC parts can be retrofitted, the format/frame is actually different (i.e., Prado)
