About a year ago, during one of our Board of Directors meetings, we discussed what we could bring to the table when meeting Government officials that will better educate them on why it's important to not shut down the trails in our Province. We all agreed that money talks and that if we had "numbers" that would better document what we are all spending in regards to our wheelin' sport/hobby, that maybe it would get some attention. With a good sampling from trail users in the Province, maybe ... just maybe ... we can help slow down and even stop some gates from being erected on our trails. That we can have an effect that will stop plans to have well established forestry roads and trails from being deactivated and returned to their original and natural state.

In the end, we prepared an online survey (see below) and we ask all wheelers to please take a bit of time and complete the questions as best that you can. Please don't exaggerate the responses, but do include costs for items that match the suggestions that we describe in each question.

Thanks for you time and we'll keep everyone posted as to what becomes of this information.

I will have to get Adam on this, I know he spends a crap load on parts every spring.

Done. Thanks Kim!

Kim, How much is it to renew the Swamp donkey membership again?

Hi Deny, standard club membership is 50 bucks per year. Individuals 20 bucks.

Also, we intend to buy event insurance this year so if you guys are thinking of having an event where you will require insurance, we will be offering a 'buy in' option for probably 200 dollars so you are insured for as many events as you like in a year. Contact me if you are interested in this insurance.

Cheers.

Deny - we can cover that with money from our dues...

Ha Ha, an event. I think we are too far for events;) Yeah Charla we will have to talk, I was just gonna send another check. Actually I don't remember the last time I paid dues to the PCTSD? And Kim our 4WDABC is due now right?

Yes, dues are calendar based right now, so due Jan 1 each year and running out Dec 31.

We stopped seriously collecting dues a few years back. I know we can rob the flag fund because we had a fair amount saved up from taking back all your keg party empties ;)
