The 4WDABC is hosting a cleanup of the Lost Creek FSR in the East Stave Lake area on Saturday, April 19th, beginning at 9 am.

The staging area will be at the Davis Lake turnoff which is approximately 3 kilometers after Sylvester Road turns to gravel. 9 am will be the meet and greet along with general orientation and 10 am will be the cleanup start. Lunch will be available to all volunteers and participants.

Thus far, we have commitments for 2 dump trucks to transport the garbage to the Mission dump. Mission has once again waived the tippage fees for our event.

In the three years that we have held this event, our members and volunteers have removed over 43 tons of garbage and steel from this forest service road system.

We look forward to you joining us for another fabulous day of camaraderie, fun and an all round rewarding day of making our back country a better place to enjoy our pastime.

see you there.

Robert cookin'? cause that's important. Andrew and I will be there.

Too bad, I want to be there like last year but still recovering from Flu. I was knocked down for a week. Me and wife got it both. She had it first, then 3 days after was my turn.

TTT for a great event.

My LC is topless and the forecast is for rain, so I'll be there with Subi and trailer.

Andrew will melt if he's out in the rain and wind (teenagers) :D

I'll be there, with my large trailer and my small helper.

Rob, give the kid an umbrella...

Good fun today. Rain held off until after lunch. Took the LC, needed the bikini top for the wet drive home (Andrew had a great time as usual)

Good job! I have taken 2 tons of house reno to the landfill this weekend- $100.00.... Very convenient, makes you wonder.. Nice nose bra on that Patrol!

Nice nose bra on that Patrol!

Got to keep the front end up nice and clean. You would not want it to have an unsightly sag now would you. :p By the way, it seemed to have no problem keeping up with and passing the Cruisers, Jeeps and Dodges on the way out. Although the Cruiser was towing about a ton of scrap out I think.

There was just over 1200lb of scrap in my trailer. The $$ will be going to the 4WD Assn from that.

Too bad I couldn't fit the whole pile in, but it was stuffed to the top of the trailer!

Oh... And I could have beaten the Camry if I'd wanted to. That nose bra would have been catching some pretty big chunks of metal flying out of the trailer though! ;)

It would be interesting if someone with creative fab skills could make a sculpture from that scrap that could be displayed at the road system as a reminder to not litter. Just thinking out loud here....

Bras are cool. hey do you have rear louvers too? :D

Too late Rob... I took it in to the scrap dealer on Tuesday. I guess there's always next year.

My thanks is to you Kim, for all you do for the 4WDassn. Your above and beyond is above and beyond.

We were back up there this last weekend... The meeting area didn't even look like we were there. Someone decided to dump a camper shell there and proceed to tear it to pieces and attempt to burn it. We were disgusted that it was that bad only one week after we were all there working our butts off to clean it up. I would so like to find out who it was and collect all the garbage we can and go dump it in their front yard... I think I am done ranting... for now.
