MUD SHIP

I've got an empty M416 headed to Alabama next week.

Will return full of a mighty 2F

If anyone needs to get anything that way I can bring my trailer to 49 Tire Tuesday and we can load it up.

I don't follow that forum but if anyone else does let them know.

Last call......

Weather looks clear but chilly at night.

It rained. HARD. a couple hours ago up there. Park drains fairly well. Better than most. It'll still be wet, but we'll be alright

Sorry I missed ya Grogan. Tolleson has your regulator.

Though I think that was you giving me the finger as you were leaving and I was driving in.

Decent event. Good peeps. Great to see my good CLC friends. You guys are fxxxing SOLID.

Thanks Tolleson/MURRAH/JT for letting me crash with you guys last night.

Uh oh... What's the story on this one?

I'm building up the parts list now to get Rick squared away. Not gonna be fun.

We are talking about a complete front end tear down to just get to the upper oil pan.

It's going to be brutal.

"upper oil pan"..... the fact that there is more than one oil pan is bad enough, the fact that whatever occurred requires getting to the "upper" one means that must have been a helluva lick from something.

Fun times indeed! When we first got to the park they were starting some Obstacle Course race like we used to do at Golden Mtn. This was much shorter and everyone had the sprint mentality. I tied with two other dudes (46 sec) and they were talking about doing a run-off. I was over it at that point, and was happy some other trucks decided to run it at the last minute. Dude in a Cherokee beat everyone by 10 seconds and damn near flipped it on the finish line.

Stole these from the LLK FB page. Suspension survived, but I suspect the impact deflected the front diff enough to make contact with the oil pan. It didn't leak until a day and a half later for some reason. Ripped apart a CV axle right before it started pouring engine oil on the ground, so diagnosis was vague at first.

WIN....

Diamondback trail

Saw your FJC @BMThiker and wondered what happened. Hope it's not too much trouble to fix.

The $10 I spent to get me (the 60 that came in 2nd) and my brother ("the dude in the Cherokee") into the race was the best $10 I've spent in a long time, what a blast.

Tried to bring it home for Toyota but hard to beat that $800 Cherokee....

My brother did end up giving me the light bar though, said it should go to a Toyota....
