NO NO i have not even got it,i am a little unsure of its condition anyway, but more just wondering.ive heard they were a better trannyI bet it was free.........![]()
thanks man i was unsureThe L43 (4speed tranny) is shorter then the later model W and G trannys so you would have to do drive shaft work to put it in a 4runner. Plus you would be down grading in trannys. The earlier trannys have weaker bearings that are more prone to failure. Anything from 84-95 22r/e with a top shifting t-case will be bolt in. If you dont care about cutting the floor a very little bit then anything from 84-95 22r/e will work.
ive yet to fix that tranny, its been almost 15 thousand miles and i would bet ive got alot of main shaft damage, besides all of the mice im hearing in the old thingIt's a step backwards, not a huge one, but still.......
What's going on that you want to swap?
yea if nothing comes up by the 14th i will .sure i can go off mud and find one for cheap, but i want somebody i can trust.Ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhh......Hehe
