New shock mount with a few options for mounting points, we'll see where it settles under flex and compression.

Yeah Toyota tin is a be-atch to weld.

030 S6 and lots of patience.

Or you could convince a welder to do the work for you.... would be tuff though :flipoff2:

patience, yes... with this stuff, no!!! Did just enough of it on one of my old 42's to know that i've developed a severe dislike for it... imagine the volume of beer that it would take for you and I to get those done!:hillbilly:

SWEEEEET! 1 down...1 to go.

SWEEEEET! 1 down...1 to go.
they're both about 75% done, kinda went from side to side to let em' cool and keep from warping too badly.

Pretty sweet, tempting to cut up my rust free southern oregon runner;).
kind of a toss up i guess, if its rust free its when you'd want to do it i guess. On the other hand it would be a shame to cut up a solid truck...

yeah, learned that one last time! Not that this one is great by any means, but nowhere near as warped as the last one. And like my good buddy Ron the welder would say..."you won't see it from the Reid"... :hillbilly:
And besides, trees don't discriminate so close enough is good enough! Now it just needs some quick and dirty filler to make it all smooth-like and we're good. Oh yeah and gonna get a white paint stick to match the pin-stripes, tomorrow's project.

yeah you've got your truck squeezed into a couple tight corners. Let me know when you're pulling your truck out and i'll bring em' out and give you a hand with it.

looks good man! always an improvement when you can't see through the truck..:hillbilly:

I have a set of those dollies too, they are great. nice being able to shove a truck into a corner of the shop you couldn't drive it into...

Course, there's a big f**ing upside down boat on mine at the moment...

Looking really good man. Going to be one of the coolest runners around.
