4Runner Rearview's on a 100? (1 Viewer)

Just something I've been wondering.

I used to drive an '03 4Runner and loved the large rear-view mirrors on it, or the side-veiw's on the doors more specifically These on my new '02 LX seem tiny to me, yes they drop for reverse (driver side at least) but they are still small I feel. The way they mount/hinge looks simular to those on the 4Runner, has anyone though of or measured to see if they are interchangeable with ease?

I think there is a market for an ICON style high quality bolt-on 80 and 100 side mirror unit. The electric adjust and heat would have to go away to keep cost down but the new style ICON/TLC mirror with custom machined mounts that bolt directly to the doors would look really cool and could be a way to add a little utilitarian style to the 100.
