My NAPA wants $39.99 per caliper unloaded, with core exchange.

Oh, and my soft lines came in today. $11.77 ea. for the axle to caliper hard line elimination.

David is forgetting,,,,,,, he gets the "I buy an a$$load of parts from you guys" discount,, and he has used the same parts guy for the 10 years I have known him, and before that,,, he follows the guy from store to store thru transfers,,,

I am seriously considering this upgrade since I am changing gears, adding a LSD and some Longfields up front. I read all the threads linked and know what I need to get. My only problem is that my rockcrawler wheels right now barely touch my calipers, they have worn themselves in fine. Are the 4Runner calipers going to make this situation worse? I read that you can file down the caliper or I can run wheel spacers, but I would rather not do either. Does anyone know if the Cruiser and 4Runner ones are the same width or thickness where the wheel mounts? I know 4Runner ones are bigger but just need to know if they are bigger where the wheel is.

Thanks.

4Runner calipers definatly look bigger. I haven't actually crawled under there to measure the two casing sizes, but they definately look bigger.

yep, the '92-'95 V6 4WD 4Runner calipers are bigger, and interfered with my 4wparts rockcrawlers at the d-window. I spaced the caliper back from the knuckle by inserting a flat washer (might take a stack of two) over the mounting bolts between the caliper and the knuckle. works great, no caliper grinding, no wheel spacers. torque those bolts to spec and check 'em for safety's sake, but mine stayed torqued.

buy them loaded, because the FJ60 pads and clips, etc. do NOT fit...you can buy the pads and hardware kit separately, but why bother.
