4Plus u-bolt flip advice (1 Viewer)

I installed the 4Plus u-bolt flip kit on my 1976 FJ40. Next, I am planning to replace my axle bump stops. Since the flip kit has a plate that raises the height of the to of the axle, what are people doing about the bump stops? ON the front passenger, if I use the short bump stop, I will have 2.25" of clearance, and on the drivers, I will have 2.5". I have OME springs with a 2.5" lift.

I have the same set up on my 77 and changed nothing on the bump stops and I get the same flex. All the u bolt flip mod did was keep the threaded ends from dragging over the rocks which is all I wanted them to do.
