I may have a line on a couple of 4L60E’s for my swap that may finally be in the making. The problem is they are 4wd, now I have to crack them open and rebuild one anyway, so I can just swap the output shaft to a 2wd and it will work with the AA adapter correct?

Yes, the only difference is the output shaft itself, I’ve swapped a few of the 4l60 output shafts from one to the other.

Thank you foe the reply, I was hoping you would see this and answer. I figured that was the answer but wanted someone who had the experience to chime in.
