An irony in all of this--noone needs to take this personally-just an observation--is that in the movie Toy Story Two (a film I personally consider to be a source of authoritative wisdom on many of lifes greatest questions),

Barbie drives a Jeep.

What are we to make of this?

Ms. Barbie and I will work things out this wknd. Lay off, gents. Lets see how deep (and thick) the trails go.

ps40 and I will have a report soon.

I have no desire to participate in any jousting, but you, of all people should know that I don't like to be insulted. I would never hate him, in fact, you can only play around with people that you like. Ask Tony... He knows that I like to mess with his friends, and he also knows that most of the time I'm just playing around. I was just trying to show Barry something, and for some reason everybody freaked out! Thanks for the good luck, but I don't think I'll need it because this has gotton way out of hand. I love you, Neely, and Lori! Please send them my love!

You're right. And I was by no means trying to insult you. I just want you to figure out who vintage offroad is.

Fighting on the internet is like running in a Special Olympics race....even if you win....you're still a retard.

Just so you know vintage is a guy who polishes up turd landcrusiers and sells them for waaaayy more than they are worth. He is very much looked down on for takeing advantage of people. A snake in the grass.

Yes, I do drive a Jeep, and it says "Barbie" on the front tag...

Ah. Clarity.

My mom drives a Jeep. They served us well in WWII etc. They have a special place in my heart. I won't give up my fj60 for one though.

Barry, I was never trying to be Pro-Jeep- In fact, I think mine is a piece! I was trying to back you up and now I have no idea what you're talking about!!!!

Let's just be buddies! Okay? We can sit by each other on the short bus. Yeah, that's a good plan!

Nothing really. This all started when I may a stupid crack about metal and labels. For the record: it was a stupid crack, consider it retracted.

I think the LC is generally a superior machine which will last longer and endure more. I also happen to think Jeeps are worthy of some respect because of their history and what they will do. I don't care much for car wars. Different strokes etc......Not worth the headache.

I appreciate the info you found and the effort it took to find it. It's interesting to know some of the history. We have to fine tune the statement but there is a historical connection Jeep to LC. I overgeneralized when I said LC's are based on a Jeep prototype. Obviously, there are significant differences.

see y'all on the trails sometime. If they don't get drowned.

As long as everyone understands that the Hummer came before both Jeep and LC and is obviously superior, I need to ask Chris a question.:whoops:  ;)

Chris, can you align most trucks? Can you align a H2 with 37x12.5x17 on it.

I'm sure we can. With our new hunter machine we have been doing 20 and 22
I dont think it will be a problem,

Thanks,
Chris
