LIFT IS SOLD.
Thought I'd throw these out to the local gang first now that I sold my 40 project. One more to sell and I can focus on one project (imagine that).

I'm just trying to get close to what I have into them:

  • Used (but not abused) Rancho 2.5" Lift Springs and Shocks, includes one pair of almost new 4+ 1.5" anti inversion shackles. $240
  • F155 - Engine parts: Block, head, crank, cam, and pistons taken out of cruiser with 38,000 miles. Although I didn't call him, the PO said he bought them from Tim Hill many years ago. They were boxed, preserved and stored. I also have new rings, valve seals, and a partial gasket kit. Also included is the oil pan and valve cover. $350
The engine may also have the rockers but I don't think I have push rods??? I also have some carbs that I'll post up later when I have the codes off them.

Added: Aisan Carb codes are 0F8 , 5B7, 0L14 and the fourth is a Rochester 2 jet 7012452.
Two of the Aisan's are in very good condition - linkage moves freely and actuator wiring still in tact. One is so/so and the GM Rochester is marginal at best.

Norm,
We should get together and set up a booth at a swap meet....

Man, no joke. I had been thinking about getting with my neighbor who was just promoted to GM at Superstition Springs Toyota about hosting a show and shine/ swap meet then he got fired. Funny, 3 weeks on the job and fired cause "the numbers aren't right" sounds like a cover up to me. Either way, I think we deffinately need an "All Toyota" swapmeet.

BMAN - I talked to Jason about something like this after the last wrenchin day. The idea was to have the people who did not need to do any work to still show up and set up their junk in the paking lot, and invite other groups with their junk (TTORA) and so on.... That way we would have the space neccesary to set up everything in the parking lot, as well as get some work done on the rigs, and shoot the bull (most important). Kinda a two birds / stone situation.

Shooting the bull, trading junk, working on junk . . . always a winner. Especially with some ice cold suds on hand.

I updated the carb codes if anyone needs some carbs (I know, carbs aren't cool anymore but someone may want them).

40 Stuff

I've got lots of 40 Stuff I'd love to get out of my garage. All Toyota swap meet sounds great. Let me know if I can help set one up.

OffRoad Rage, did you get my last PM about the carbs?

Mark

I don't expect the world to revolve around me . . .

but if it suits you gearheads at CSC, I will be in Arizona May 2-12. If you have your swap anytime during that period, I will bring my wheelbarrow and pockets full of pennies (Watch out! - they may be canadian).

Please do not hold the swap on the 9th as I am getting married in Sedona. I really don't want to choose which event I want to go to - I'm afraid of the consequences . . . :whoops:

I am looking for front turn signals, antennaes (2), hood hinges and come to think of it, almost everything else.

From the northernmost contributor (other than when desertdude is chasing caribou in the Arctic tundra),

Dieseldude - located in Barrie, Ontario Canada for now.:crybaby: I want someone down there to adopt me. I do come with two diesel 40 series . . . . .

P.S. Do you have to live in Arizona to become a CSC member?
P.P.S. Yes - we still have snow up here. :flipoff2: :censor:

Sorry for not getting back to you Mark. It's been one of those weeks. I'll PM you with another idea that may work out well for both of us.

By the way the lift and engine are still available. Lots of interest and tire kicking but no takers.
