My transmission likes to pop out of 1st when I am idling down a hill. I can use the brakes and 2nd gear but it gets real annoying. I think this is a 1st gear synchronizer problem. Has anyone put one in before? How hard is it once the trans is on the workbench and how much does the synchronizer cost? It also is rough shifting into 3rd gear but I dont use 3rd much anymore since I got my 350 in Also, has anyone bought an orion case lately? What are the thoughts on that? I climb hills fast with my stock gearing. --74 fj40, 350 with around 300hp, 35" tires and the rest of the drivetrain stock.
