There most certainly are different crossmembers for different year FJ60s... but since they are located under the tranny, it wont make a difference in this case. The difference has to do with the rubber mount and the angle of the tranny. as long as the bellhousing, the crossmember and the rubber mount are from the same vintage as the truck, you are fine. Trying to piece it together will make you crazy if you werent aware of the changes.
Any split case will mount behind the later FJ60 4spd, but the issue for the H55f is with the early cases and the lack of the oiler cup provison.
