4 runner rims

My dad has a 93 4runner with the aluminum wheels.
The tires lose air over time. The tire guy said they are corroding on the inside that is why the air loss is happening. Anyone had this problem??
My main question is what are they worth?? I have a few guys interested in buying them and I told them about the problem.
They look good on the outside.

The tire guy is probably right. But, it's an easy fix, you just remove the tire, then clean the bead seat rings with a cup wire brush in an angle grinder. Smear bead sealant on, then re-mount the tire.
