3vz-e reman heads and head gasket replacement tips or tricks?

had to shovel my way out of the house and into the shop.. got codes, #24 intake air temp sens. signal, #31 volume air flow meter signal, and #41 throttle position sensor. damn. hope it's not my ecm because i just checked and adjusted the tps. might be wiring, the plugs on air flow meter and the tps are pretty haggard though so it could be them.

checked the resistance on the air flow meter and the tps and they're within spec. my brother said they might share a common ground and to check that.. ?? anyone know if they do and where it is?
