3M Body Schutz

Anyone have experience in applying and judging the effectiveness of 3M Body Schutz? It's marketed as a sound deadener and protective undercoating. Hope this link works.

Applying ...yes....judging the effectiveness, not so much. Sorry, I can't be of more help. For the most part I'd say I am pleased with the 3M line of schutz (and their adhesives)...although I have mainly used their rocker schutz as of late.

Yes, we use it at the shop once in a while. we use it to spray engine compartments and interiors of 40s. you can paint over it or just leave it black.

Also if you have the Schultz Gun you can spray Herculiner which works fantastic as well.

Rocker Schutz is paintable...Body Schutz not so much.
