Hey guys, my wife’s been complaining about the smell every time she rides in the bj, and I’m tired of listening to her so I re-routed my crankcase vent. I didn’t think too hard about it while I was installing it, but now that I’m sitting here I’m questioning the new setup. What I’ve done is slip a 5/8 hose over top of the end of the road draft tube off the side cover, and I ran it alllll the way to the back of the truck, with a downturn right at the rear bumper. Will this cause me any issues? Do I need to worry about the excess oil vapour building up and blocking the tube? Will the crankcase pressure be enough to push past or push through the build up excess oil inside the extension hose? I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts…
