35x12.50 BFG MTs lasted a long time (50,000+no lockers) on my last cruiser.

35x12.50 Goodyear MTRs on the current cruiser, don't seem to be lasting near as long, but are better on road and are pretty quiet.

31x10.50 BFG ATs on the taco lasted over 70,000 miles and still got some life.

I think you can get more miles out of the BFGs, and I believe they are little bit cheaper.

thanks for all the advise on tire options. I have alot to think about over the weekend. My best option may be to have two sets of tires. Thanks agian.

I've got the 35" Trxus and they are fairly quite on the road. The rubber is soft and seems to wear pretty fast. Decent off road tire.

A lot of the dirt roads out here have a "hardened" layer on them for dust control...

If I had the cash, I would first get the Swamper SSR and then get the GY MTR's but because I don't, I went with the Mud Kings and they have treated me pretty darn good. They just won't stick to the rocks like a Swamper will. BFG M/T's? No thanks.
