anyoen runing 34 10/50s on 86 and up ifs 4runners? if so how much can the cvs take? am i gonna snap them like twigs or whats the chance they can survive?

Pretty shore im buying my buddies clean 86 4runner off him 22re motor and auto transl i plan on doin a manual trans transfercase swap on it if i get it. Then possibly solid axel swap but i wana eb able to wheel it prior to the axel swap and i got 34 inch ltbs already.

Whats the largest safe tire size for these trucks?

I'm on 33X10.5's and everything is holding up fine so far. I have stock diffs and marlin 4.7's in the T-case. I'm not on the skinny pedal much though, it's my DD. So the largest safe tire size really depends on your wheeling style and the condition of the CV's

If i get the truck im getting it for like 1700 ;) only couple bubble rust spots on fended lips otherwise cancer free. watch ima be the guy who blows cvs every trip lol

That tire will hook up! In mud any way.

Just keep the front open and use your head. I say do it. I was running 33" tsls on my Ifs with no peoblems and I would bet the 33 tsl is more punishing than the 34 LTB. I had the v6 and a heavy truck.

That is an excellent tire choice. They are light and wont have rubbing issues when you turn. Should things happen to break that is just a reason to SAS it. Dont think that to much will be breaking

I ran 36-38s on my rig with stock cvs and the 2LT-II diesel engine as a dd and used it for some serious offroading, without any problems. And I had a detroit true-track in front and the aussielocker rear. I broke the stock cv when trying to tow a jeep up a hill in reverse ant therefor I went SAS.

Many people in Norway are running up to 38s on ifs trucks, without much trouble. But you have to be more careful with the throttle... ;)

So 34s... no problem!!! Go for it!!!
