the conclusion i got from this thread 32 11.50s orevenm 12.50s should fit a stock 62?

I think this is what you want to know -
10.5 or 9.5 are sure fits. for 31 or 32" and 33" can fit with 9.5 in stock form fj62.

i have been running 33/9.50 and 33/10.50 BFG (ATs and MTs) on the stock 6.5 steel wheels for about 7 years on my 87 FJ60. IMHO the 33/10.50 is the perfect tire for that vehicle. not too wide to add extra on-road rolling resistance, decent enough clearance over stock tire size, and it WILL stuff all the way to the bumpstops with minimal to no rubbing.
